“ Legit Carniceria! The only place around with pan dulce and the food is good too! Don't sleep on this spot. ”
“ Solid Mexican market restaurant option. We first tried to go there on Sunday but didn't realize the restaurant closed an hour before the market. I went back a few days later and ordered some flautas, tacos, and tamales. Tamales had a good bit of meat but were slightly overdone. Tacos were good. Flautas had a lot of toppings. Overall probably the best cheap authentic Mexican for miles. ”

“ Now. I've divided the good and bad into two criticisms. The Good: The food is absolutely wonderful! A real and authentic taste of Mexican culture. I caught myself eating the whole soup bowl! Even the tacos were good! I caught my dad eating more after dinner! The Bad: The restaurant where the food was made was an absolute mess. Puddles of water here and there, there was trash everywhere. As if nobody bothered to take the time to grab a broom and dustpan and sweep up for a few minutes. My suggestion: If you want to have a taste of authentic Mexican food, I suggest ordering your selected foods to-go, eating here wouldn't be ideal since the tables are too close to one another, so you might bump into someone while eating. ”

The line was short when I arrived at 6;30, but when I received my order about 15 minutes later the restaurant was busy with a line 6 deep of Hispanic workers who had just finished a day of work. Definitely authentic food with a variety of items from soups, burritos, quesadillas, home flan and tress leches. it helps if You speak Spanish (i know the basics), but the lady taking orders knows some English as well. Across the room is a butcher shop and adjacent to the restaurant is a market. Well worth a visit and eat in the restaurant rather than to go and take advantage of the condiment bar (salsas, veggies, etc) ”
